This ghost town needs not

Your sympathy

Your needless speeches

Your endless hypocritical

lingo.

This ghost town needs not

Your empathy

Your condescension

Your ever-fading

silhouettes.

Our ghost town needs not

Your vacant stacks

Your stray bullets

Your shameful pride

Your suits and

ties.

This time, Beirut needs not

Another loss

Another martyr

Another poisonous trade

Yet another whispered-out

deal.

This ghost town needs a

revolution

a victory

a harmonious symphony of

acceptance, freedom, and some more

freedom.
